Darby Mills

Darby Phyllis Mills, also known as Darby Mills, born 1959 in Vernon, British Columbia, is a Canadian rock vocalist. After starting as a backup singer for local groups in the late 1970s, she joined the Headpins in 1981, contributing to the albums Turn It Loud and Line of Fire, which featured hits such as "Don't It Make Ya Feel" and "Celebration". The band toured Europe and North America, opening for acts including Kiss and Aerosmith. In 1991, she released the solo album Never Look Back. Mills later re‑formed the Headpins and issued a solo album and a live CD. In 2025, she launched the True Story live documentary tour, blending performance with career storytelling.
