Jon Michaelides, the creative force behind Dalham, has always been immersed in music from a young age. Classically trained as a pianist, he developed a profound understanding of melody, harmony, and structure, skills that would later inform his approach to electronic music. Over the years, his musical journey shifted towards the world of synthesis, where he found freedom in the vast sonic possibilities that modern technology offered. His ability to merge these worlds—traditional and electronic—has become a hallmark of his style, making his work equally rich in emotion and experimentation. Released in 2017, Dalham’s debut project, Waves, laid the foundation for his distinct approach to modern composition, fusing elements of classical piano with the immersive world of electronic production. He has since put out several other synthesiser-rich albums, including Janus (2017) and Cobra and And the Sun in 2025.
