Dabrye

Tadd Mullinix, known professionally as Dabrye, is an American musician from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mullinix began a career under the alias James T. Cotton and released the album Winking Makes a Face (2000), which was the first album released by the Ghostly International label. The first album released under the Dabrye name was One/Three (2001), featuring an instrumental hip-hop style that paralleled the work of artists including Prefuse 73. Subsequent projects included the single “Game Over” (2004), which featured Jay Dee and Phat Kat, and the second full-length album Two/Three (2006), which included collaborations with underground figures such as MF DOOM and Beans. Mullinix also formed the techno and acid house group 2 AM/FM with D'Marc Cantu. Discography releases include the albums Additional Productions Vol.1 (2005) and Three/Three (2018).
