Cyan Kicks

Cyan Kicks is a Finnish rock band from Helsinki, formed in 2016. The group consists of vocalist Susanna Alexandra, guitarist Niila Perkkiö, bassist Leevi Erkkilä, and drummer Pietari Reijonen. Prior to forming Cyan Kicks, Susanna Alexandra and Niila Perkkiö had collaborated in a previous band called Fuse!. Cyan Kicks signed with the Finnish record label Ranka Kustannus in June 2017 and released their first single "Feathers" that same year. Their second single "Gasoline", released in January 2018, gained national radio play on YleX. The band's debut studio album I Don't Love You was released in August 2019 and received an Emma nomination for Best Rock Album of the Year. In February 2021, they released their first EP Not Your Kind. During summer 2021, Cyan Kicks performed as a warm-up act at an Apocalyptica gig in Tampere, where they collaborated with Elize Ryd of Amaranthe to create the song "Hurricane". The band competed in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2022 with "Hurricane", finishing second. In January 2024, Cyan Kicks were selected to compete in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2024 with the song "Dancing with Demons".
