Cross Canadian Ragweed

Cross Canadian Ragweed was a country rock band formed in Yukon, Oklahoma in 1994. The original lineup included Cody Canada, Grady Cross, Randy Ragsdale, and Matt Weidemann. They released their first album Carney in 1998. Their second studio album Highway 377 was recorded in 1999 but released in 2001. They released their album Soul Gravy in 2004, which debuted at number 4 on the Billboard charts, and featured background vocals by Lee Ann Womack on “Sick and Tired”. Their album Garage was released in 2005, achieving a heavy rock/grunge sound, featuring hits like “Fightin' For” and “This Time Around”, and marking their breakthrough into rock radio. The band announced their hiatus and subsequent breakup in 2010.
