CoLD SToRAGE

Timothy Brian Wright, born 31 July 1967 in Wrexham, Wales, is a Welsh electronic music composer and producer. Known professionally as CoLD SToRAGE, he began composing on the Amiga in the early 1990s, gaining attention with the demo track "Puggs in Space", which led to a contract with Psygnosis and work on titles such as Lemmings and Wipeout. His breakthrough came with the soundtrack to Wipeout 2097 (1996), earning the Golden Joystick Award for Best Game Music the same year. Timothy Brian Wright released his first solo album Android Child (2008), followed by CoLD SToRAGE HD (2008) and Gravity Crash Anthems (2010). In 2011 he issued 6E 61 32 and the EP AMIGA Revisited 2011, while Shadow of the Beast III (2002) and Shadow of The Beast MMXV (2015) expanded his soundtrack catalogue. He continued to score games such as Gravity Crash (2009) and Project Moonbounce 2009 (2009), and released Tik Tak (2010) and MELT (2005). Timothy Brian Wright’s work has been recognized with multiple industry awards, including a BAFTA nomination in 2000 for MUSIC 2000 and continued influence on electronic video game music. Following the release of the Pacer and Lemmings soundtracks in 2021, previous works for Wipeout were compiled on the albums WipE'out'': The Zero Gravity Soundtrack (2023), and WipE′out″ - The Zero Gravity Soundtrack Vol. 2 (2025).
