Choisul

Choisul (최설), born Choi Mingwan, is a South Korean singer-songwriter who debuted independently in 2021. Known for his refined sound and emotionally honest songwriting, he first drew attention with his debut single “Closer,” which showcased his delicate melodies and introspective tone. Since then, Choisul has steadily built his own musical identity through releases such as “여전히 멍하니”(2022) and “Sorry Not Sorry,”(2023) blending alternative R&B and emotional pop with subtle experimental touches. His 2025 single “잘 지내길 바래” further highlighted his strength in conveying sincere post-breakup emotions through restrained vocals and lyrical depth. In addition to his solo work, Choisul has expanded his range through collaborations with artists like Ambid Jack and Aron.
