veanii (비니), formerly known as JEOMi (저미) and born An Jeong-min (안정민; birth name Hong Jeong-min) on July 2, 2004, in Incheon, South Korea, is a South Korean singer-songwriter currently under EXSCAPE. She first gained public attention as a contestant on Kpop Star 6: The Last Chance (2016–2017) and later appeared on Mnet’s Girls Planet 999 in 2021, where she was eliminated in the second round with a final rank of K13. After training under agencies including SM Entertainment and TOP Media, she made her solo debut on June 24, 2023, with the digital single “Rainy Day” under the stage name JEOMi, later rebranding as veanii in December 2023. Since then, she has steadily built her discography with releases such as “Time,”(2023) “Stay By My Side,”(2024) “Mirror,”(2024) “(No)wonder,”(2024) “To A Higher Place,”(2024) and “Boy,”(2025) while also participating in songwriting and collaborations.
