Real name Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, Nigerian singer Chike (or Chiké) was born in Onitsha, Anambra State, on January 28, 1993. He made a name for himself with his participation in the reality TV show Project Fame West Africa, then in the first season of The Voice Nigeria, where he reached the final in 2016. Signed by the Universal Republic label, he released his first single "Fancy U" in December 2016 and collaborated with the Africa Magic company, which produces TV series. Appearing in the Battleground series, Chike frees himself from his record label contract to become an independent artist, releasing the single "Beautiful People" (2018) in the process, followed by the albums Boo of the Booless (2020) and The Brother's Keeper (2022). Released in 2024, his second album Son of Chike includes collaborations with Olamide, Lapidoe and Qing Madi. He collaborated with Davido and Odumodvblvck on the track "Funds", then with Ayo Maff on the track "Realness", included on the latter's Prince of the Street album in 2025.
