Chicho Castro y Sus Alia2

Chicho Castro y Sus Alia2 were a Regional Mexican project led by singer-songwriter Chicho Castro that entered the corridos lane around 2019 and quickly leaned into punchy, live-tested songs, captured early on by Puras Pa’ Empinar el Codo (2019) and the performance-focused set En Vivo Chicho Castro y Sus Alia2 (2020). They kept rolling through the early 2020s with a steady run of singles and features inside the corridos ecosystem, then sharpened their visibility in 2024 with releases like “No Es por Ella” and “Bi$ho,” before landing one of their biggest moments with “Que Empiece El Juego” with Tony Aguirre and its banda-live variation the same year. In 2025 they shifted into a bigger, album-led chapter with Corridos Premium, while also leaning into the live energy again on EN VIVO DESDE EL RANCHO, VOL. 1 and pushing headline singles such as “El R2” with Codiciado and Enigma Norteño plus a string of new cuts including “JEFE 3,” “La Noche Perfecta,” “Labial de Fresita,” “Malditas Caricias,” and “El De Los Balenciaga.”
