Australian Nicholas James Murphy, who adopted the pseudonym Chet Faker in homage to his favorite musician, emerged in 2011 with a cover of a Backstreet track, "No Diggity". His slow-tempo electro style, influenced by soul and folk, takes shape on the Thinking In Textures EP (2012). A guest on Flume's debut album and remixer of MS MR and The Temper Trap, Chet Faker unveils his debut album Built on Glass in April 2014.
