Charlie Winston

Charlie Winston (b. 1978) is renewing the saga of the hobos, the mythical itinerants already celebrated from Jack Kerouac to Bob Dylan. Son and brother of a musician (his brother Tom Baxter has a successful career), Charlie Winston immersed himself in music from an early age. His cover of " I'm a Man" illustrates an advert for a popular German car brand, and brought him his first notoriety in 2008. " Like a Hobo", with its whistling theme and stripped-down video, served as the launchpad for the album Hobo, a big hit in 2009. Still better known in France than in England, Charlie Winston released the DVD Hit the Road in April 2010. In 2011, Running Still has the immense task of prolonging the love affair between the artist and the French public. It succeeds rather well, and opens the door to Curio City, released in early 2015.
