Charlie Charles

Paolo Alberto Monachetti, known professionally as Charlie Charles, was born on March 24, 1994, in Settimo Milanese, Italy. He is a producer and DJ who began his career by dropping out of high school to focus on music. In 2015, he started working at Roccia Music, the label of Marracash and Shablo, where he collaborated with artists like Sfera Ebbasta and Ghali, contributing to their mainstream success. Charles also produced notable tracks for Tedua, Izi, and the Dark Polo Gang. He co-founded BillionHeadz Music Group (BHMG) in 2018 with Sfera Ebbasta. Under his own name, Charlie Charles released several singles, including "Bimbi" (2017), featuring Izi, Rkomi, Sfera Ebbasta, Tedua, and Ghali, which reached Number three on the charts. Other notable releases include "Niagara" and "Rap" with Izi in 2016 and 2017, and "Peace & Love" with Sfera Ebbasta and Ghali in 2018. In 2019, he co-produced "Soldi" for Mahmood, which won the Sanremo Festival. He followed up that year with "Calipso" with Dardust, and "Obladi oblada" with Ghali, Thasup and Fabri Fibra in 2023. The first album under his name, La bella confusione, was released in October 2025, including featurings with Ernia, Mahmood, Blanco, Massimo Pericolo, Bresh, Sfera Ebbasta, Nayt, Elisa and Madame. It reached number 6 on the Italian Albums chart.
