Charles D. Lewis

Charles D. Lewis is a singer and composer from Barbados. In 1990, while still a sound engineering student in Düsseldorf, he met an artistic director who encouraged him to produce the track "Soca Dance". This genuine summer hit was impressively well received, topping the French Top 50 for seven weeks. The same year, the album Do You Feel It? reached number one in France and Belgium. Charles D. Lewis then turned his attention to production. He set up RaGaCha Studio in Barbados, where he recorded and mastered the music of many of his compatriots, including Caribbean artists such as Square One, Krosfyah, Traffic and Boogsie Sharpe. In 2007, he released the compilation All My Goodness, a mix of hits and previously unreleased tracks.
