Fay-Ann Lyons-Alvarez, born Fay-Ann Lyons on November 5, 1980, in Point Fortin, Trinidad and Tobago, is a soca recording artist and songwriter. She began her career as a member of the band Invazion led by Naya George and later became an official member of the Asylum band founded by her husband, Bunji Garlin. Her breakthrough came with the release of "Display" in 2003, which won the Carnival Road March title. Lyons went on to win the same title again in 2008 with "Get On" and in 2009 with "Meet Super Blue", becoming the first female artist to achieve this feat while pregnant. She also became the first individual to win the Power, Groovy, and People's Choice awards during the International Soca Monarch competition in 2009. Lyons released her EP Raze in 2015 and her album Break the World in 2017.
