Casar

The German rapper Casar was born in Mainz on December 31, 2002, has Moroccan roots and his first name is Omar. He published short videos on his social media channel as a teenager and stood out from the masses of internet rappers thanks to his technique and energy. Rapper Eno discovered his talent when Casar was 14 years old and met him by chance in a cell phone store. The resulting hype helped him land a major deal with record label Universal Urban - at the age of 16 and without having released a single music video or official song. in 2019, his first single "Vice City" was released, which was celebrated by the hip-hop scene, as was his feature part on "Kleine Bitch" by fellow rapper Nimo. his first mixtape Strada (Italian for street) was released in 2020 and placed Casar in the milieu and genre of street rap. His songs subsequently became increasingly musical and melodic and also moved away from the usual topics such as drugs and violence in terms of content. He achieved his first chart entry with the single "Habibi". The song made it to number 9 in the German charts and landed at number 25 in Austria. In 2021, he only released single songs and had further successes with "Tanz", "Drunk" (together with rapper Calo) and "Rote Augen Weisse Nikes" (together with singer Aylo). At the beginning of 2022, he released another previously unreleased song, "Let me catch u" .
