Casanovas

Casanovas, a Swedish dansband formed in 1989 in Vadstena, Sweden, emerged under the leadership of vocalist Andreas Hedenskog, who guided the group to victory in the 1998 Svenska dansbandsmästerskapen. The band’s early releases, including the 2000 album I Varje Del Av Mitt Hjärta. In 2007 the single "Kärleken lever" appeared on the album Nu Kommer Jag Tillbaks, followed by the 2012 release Livet Börjar Nu! which entered the Swedish Albums Chart at Number Six in its first week. Subsequent albums Sommar i Sverige (2013), Hon Ska Bli Min (2014), Bästa Bugglåtar (2014), Galet Mycket Hits! (2015), Bästa Foxlåtar (2015), and Kom Och Sjung Halleluja (2016) expanded their catalogue, with the 2023 single "Så kommer känslorna tillbaka" adding a contemporary touch. Throughout their career, Casanovas maintained a steady touring schedule across Sweden, collaborated with notable local musicians, and received recognition for their contributions to the dansband genre, highlighted by consistent chart placements and the 1998 competition win. The group’s lineup has evolved, with Henrik Sethsson taking over vocal duties from Andreas Hedenskog, while Jimmy Lindberg, Stefan Ryding, and Hans Plahn have remained core instrumentalists, sustaining the band’s legacy in Swedish music.
