BTNG

George Boateng, known professionally as BTNG, was born on September 30, 1982, in West Berlin. He is a German-Ghanaian rapper and football official. Boateng initially gained attention for his involvement in football, playing alongside his brothers Jérôme Boateng and Kevin-Prince Boateng in the youth teams of Hertha BSC. His music career began on May 1, 2015, with the release of his debut single "Gewachsen auf Beton" under Warner Music Group. The title is a reference to a Nike marketing campaign featuring Boateng and his brothers. Later that year, he released his first album Gewachsen auf Beton. In 2017, BTNG released the EP Black Mamba and collaborated on several notable tracks with Kontra K. In 2025, he became the Sporting Director of the sports club Viktoria Berlin.
