Ali Bumaye, who was born Ali Alulu Abdul-razzak on January 11, 1985 in Berlin, initially grew up in the Neukölln district. After school, he first tried his hand as a chef before Bumaye switched to the rap business. It was there that he first achieved greater fame in 2014 with his debut single "Voll süß aber", which immediately entered the German charts at number 41. Just one year later, he released his debut album Fette Unterhaltung on the Bushido label ersguterjunge, which also featured Bushido himself (including "BLN") as well as other MC greats such as Shindy ("Bitch") and Eko Fresh ("Nicht mit uns"). The record is able to establish itself in the top 10 in the entire DACH region. Ali Bumaye, who is the cousin of clan boss Arafat Abou-Chaker, followed up in 2016 with his second album Rubble in the Jungle, which reached the top 5 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The same year also saw a platinum-winning collaboration with Shindy and Nico Santos for the hit "Sex ohne Grund". Ali Bumaye, who then takes a creative break, celebrates his comeback in 2019 with "Jordan Elephant" and also founds his own interview format called Ali therapiert, where he has already welcomed rap heavyweights such as Manuellsen, Sido and Fler as guests.
