Branden Anderson is an American singer, songwriter, musician, actor, entrepreneur, teacher, and motivational speaker. He is best known as the founder and member of the internationally acclaimed and chart-topping group G.I., which has dominated the Billboard charts for over a decade, amassing millions in music sales and streams while touring globally to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Beginning the piano at 8, Anderson played on a small keyboard his parents gave him for Christmas. A few months later, he was playing for his first of many church choirs. He credits his father, the late Robert J. Anderson III; his grandmother, the late Kisiah Carter; his mother, Sharon Anderson; Kirk Franklin; The Canton Spirituals; Boyz II Men; and Earth, Wind & Fire as some of his musical influences and inspirations. After his studies and his career with G.I., Anderson founded BGA School of Music in Virginia, and embarked on a solo career with singles "God Did It Again (Tell Somebody) " in 2021, and "On Time" in 2023, which climbed at number 25 on the Gospel Airplay chart nex year. In 2024 followed "Lockdown", then "Promise" in 2025.
