Bossacucanova is a Brazilian bossa nova group from Rio de Janeiro formed in 1997. Their debut album Revisited Classics was released in 1999, followed by Brasilidade (2001), which earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Brazilian Pop Album in 2002. The group has collaborated with artists such as Adriana Calcanhotto, Lulu Santos, and Rita Lee. Their later releases include Nossa Onda à Essa!, Ipanema Lounge Volume 1, Uma Batida Diferente, Ao Vivo, and the compilation The Best of Bossacucanova (2016). The group is known for blending traditional bossa nova with electronic music and downtempo production techniques.
