Bleed From Within are a Scottish metalcore band from Glasgow, known for their blistering blend of crushing riffs, soaring melodies, and anthemic choruses. Formed in 2005, the band quickly rose through the UK metal underground, carving a name for themselves with their relentless energy, technical musicianship, and ferocious live shows. Drawing influences from bands like Lamb of God, Machine Head, and Killswitch Engage, Bleed From Within have developed a sound that balances aggressive groove with powerful emotional intensity. The band's early releases, including their debut album Humanity (2009) and the critically acclaimed Empire (2010), positioned them at the forefront of the UK's new wave of metalcore. However, it was with Uprising (2013) that Bleed From Within truly found their voice, delivering an album full of punishing riffs, dynamic songwriting, and a sense of ambition that set them apart from their peers. After a brief hiatus and lineup changes—including the addition of guitarist Steven Jones—the band returned stronger than ever with Era (2018), a record that marked a new chapter in their evolution. Subsequent releases like Fracture (2020) and Shrine (2022) showcased a band that had matured without losing their raw edge, blending metalcore brutality with moments of soaring, stadium-ready grandeur. Tracks like "The End of All We Know" and "I Am Damnation" exemplify Bleed From Within’s knack for crafting heavy anthems that feel both punishing and empowering. The band's bruising seventh studio album, Zenith, arrived in 2025 via the Nuclear Blast label.
