Blake Shelton

Born in Ada, Oklahoma (USA) on June 18, 1976, singer-songwriter Blake Shelton has emerged as one of the greatest country talents of the 2000s. Taken from his first album of the same name, "Austin" (2001) stayed at the top of the charts for five weeks. Subsequent albums brought further hits, including "The Baby" (No. 28, 2002, from The Dreamer), "Some Beach" (No. 28) and "Nobody But Me" (No. 60, Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill, 2004), followed by "Home" (No. 41, Pure BS, 2007). This string of successes continues with the albums Startin' Fires (2008), Red River Blue (2011), Based on a True Story (2013), Bringing Back the Sunshine (2014), If I'm Honest (2016) and Texoma Shore (2017). A quiet artist nonetheless, he became a public figure through his status as a juror on the TV show The Voice (2012-2016). He then totaled twenty-four number ones in the country charts and was nominated eight times for the Grammy Awards, without winning an award. In 2019, Blake Shelton releases his third compilation, Fully Loaded: God's Country, which is not completely a compilation, as it includes seven hits and five new songs, including the famous "God's Country", which reached number one that same year. 2021 sees Blake Shelton release his twelfth studio album, Body Language. Two collaborations with No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani followed with the singles "Purple Irises" in 2024 and "Hangin' On", for her own album For Recreational Use Only, released in 2025, alongside the hits "Stay Country or Die Tryin'" and "Texas".
