The German rapper Bausa was born in Saarbrücken in 1989 under the real name Julian Otto. The musician began his career in 2014 with the EP Seelenmanöver. In the years that followed, Bausa contributed to various tracks by other artists, including the song "Kreis" by Kontra K, the single "Atramis" by Bonez MC & RAF Camora and the song "Komm wir chillen" by rapper Capo. Other collaborations include with the musicians Prinz Pi, Sido, Celo & Abdi and Miss Platnum. In April 2017, Bausa released his debut album Dreifarbenhaus. The artist makes it to number 10 in the German charts. In fall 2017, the German rapper's single "Was du Liebe nennst" spent nine weeks at number one in the German charts. The hip-hop song reaches diamond status. In summer 2019, Bausa released his second album Fieber with the singles "Mary" and "Licht". Bausa is supported by Dardan on the latter song. The artist's third album, 100 Pro, is released at the beginning of 2021. The single "Madonna", a collaboration with Apache 207, climbs to number 1 in the German and Austrian singles charts in the same year. Bausa achieves another number 1 hit in Germany as a guest musician with fellow rappers Sira and Badchieff and the single "9 bis 9". Another longplayer, Der Letzte macht das Licht aus, follows in late summer 2023.
