Basement, a British rock band, formed in Ipswich, Suffolk, England, in 2009 following the break-up of In This for Fun. Basement's second album, Colourmeinkindness, charted at number 188 on the US Billboard 200 in 2012. The band went on hiatus but announced their return in early 2014, with a new EP, Further Sky, announced in June and released in 2014. Their third album, Promise Everything, was released in 2016 and charted internationally. In 2018, Basement released their fourth album, Beside Myself, and supported Weezer and the Pixies on tour. The band reunited for Outbreak Fest in 2022 and announced a US tour in 2024.
