BaianaSystem

BaianaSystem, a Brazilian musical group from Salvador, Bahia, was formed in 2007. The band's debut album, Baianasystem, was released in 2010. In 2015, their song "Playsom" was featured in the soundtrack of the video game FIFA 16. BaianaSystem won the Brazilian Music Awards for Best Group and Revelation of the Year in 2017, with their song "Invisível" nominated as Song of the Year at the Multishow Brazilian Music Award. Their album O Futuro Não Demora earned a Latin Grammy Award for Best Portuguese Language Rock or Alternative Album in 2019. The group's subsequent albums include Duas Cidades, Outras Cidades, and OXEAXEEXU. In January 2025, BaianaSystem released their fifth studio album O Mundo Dá Voltas through Máquina de Louco, including collaborations with Orquestra Afrosinfônica and other guests; the record was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2025 Multishow Brazilian Music Awards and won the 2025 Latin Grammy Award for Best Portuguese Language Rock or Alternative Album.
