Bada

Choi Sung-hee, known professionally as Bada, was born on February 28, 1980, in Bucheon, Republic of Korea. She is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress. Her early life was marked by financial struggles, residing in a container home provided by a local church until her debut. Bada was scouted by Lee Soo-man and entered SM Entertainment, debuting as the leader and lead vocalist of the girl group S.E.S. in 1997. The group released their debut album I'm Your Girl on November 1, 1997. After S.E.S. disbanded in December 2002, Bada signed with WoongJin Entertainment and released her first solo studio album, A Day Of Renew, on October 23, 2003. She continued her solo career with albums such as Aurora (September 24, 2004), Made In Sea (January 23, 2006), and See the Sea (August 7, 2009). Notable singles include "Think About' Chu" (January 4, 2008) and "Queen" (July 26, 2007). Bada also ventured into musical theater, starring in productions like Notre-Dame de Paris and winning Best Actress at the third Musical Awards. In 2016, she celebrated her 20th debut anniversary with a special album titled Flower. In 2025, Bada released a new single "Love wave".
