Arling & Cameron

Arling & Cameron was a Dutch synthesizer pop music duo composed of Gerry Arling and Richard Cameron. Inspired by Japanese Shibuya-kei kitsch-pop deconstructionists, they began their musical partnership by hosting Easy Tune parties around Amsterdam. Their early music drew from French pop, spy movie themes, lounge, and '70s light rock. In 1998, Emperor Norton released their debut album All-In. The duo also collaborated with Pizzicato Five, co-writing "Arigato, We Love You" for their album Happy End of the World (1997). Subsequent albums include Music for Imaginary Films (2000), We are A&C (2001), Hi-Fi Underground (2006) and Good Times (2015). Gerry Arling passed away on February 20, 2025.
