Real name Abraham Orellana, born in Providence, Rhode Island, on June 16, 1989, AraabMuzik is an American producer and beatmaker of hip-hop and electronic music. Of Dominican and Guatemalan origin, he became known in the mid-2000s for his virtuosity on the MPC (Music Production Controller), which he uses like a percussion instrument to play beats in real time with impressive speed and precision. He began his career producing for the Dipset collective (The Diplomats), notably for artists such as Cam'ron, Hell Rell and Jim Jones. His style is characterized by a blend of hip-hop, electronic music, trap and trance, which he fuses into intense, energetic instrumental compositions. In 2011, he released the critically acclaimed instrumental album Electronic Dream, cultivating a bold bridge between the worlds of rap and electronic music. The victim of several shootings in 2013 and 2016, he survived his injuries and pursued his career, collaborating with numerous artists while continuing to perform live. Also to his credit are the albums Dream World (2016), Trap v. Drill v. EDM (2018), Aggro Drift (film soundtrack, 2024) and Electronic Dream 2 (2025).
