ANTIC CAFE

Antic Cafe (also known as *An Cafe*) is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in 2003, originally centered around guitarist Bou. Known for their colorful style and energetic music blending dance rock and genre-free visual kei, their debut indie single “Candyholic” reached Number. 2 on the Oricon Indies Chart. After Bou's departure in 2007, guitarist takuya and keyboardist Yuuki joined, marking the start of the “2nd generation.” That same year, the band achieved a Top 20 debut on the Oricon Major Chart with “Kakusei Heroism.” Antic Cafe performed internationally, touring across Europe, North and South America, and Asia between 2008 and 2009. Following a successful Budokan show in 2010, they went on hiatus, only to resume in 2012 with the “SUMMER DIVE” tour and major label debut under Being. In 2014, they released the new single "Mōsō Mo Mō Sorosoro", which was one of their notable singles. In 2019, they held a two-day farewell show titled “LIVE CAFE 15th Anniversary Year Grand Finale” at EX THEATER ROPPONGI and suspended activities again.
