YOHIO

Kevin Johio Lucas Rehn Eires, known professionally as YOHIO, was born on July 12, 1995, in Stockholm, Sweden. He began playing piano at six and guitar at eleven, writing his first song soon after. YOHIO gained initial recognition with the Swedish rock band Seremedy, releasing their debut EP Seasons Will Change in 2011. In 2013, he participated in the Melodifestivalen with "Heartbreak Hotel", finishing second. That same year, YOHIO's debut album Break the Border was released. He returned to Melodifestivalen in 2014 with "To the End", reaching sixth place. In 2015, he formed the band DISREIGN, releasing multiple EPs and singles, including "VEXED" in 2020. He also ventured into acting, appearing in the mystery series Jordskott.
