Another Bad Creation

Another Bad Creation, an American hip hop group from Atlanta, was formed in 1988 and consisted of Chris Sellers, Marliss (Mark) Pugh, Demetrius Pugh (Red), David Shelton, Romell Chapman, and Adrian Witcher (G.A.). They were discovered by Michael Bivins of Bell Biv DeVoe. The group rose to fame with their debut album Coolin' At the Playground Ya Know!, released on February 11, 1991, under Motown Records via Biv 10 Records. This album featured hit singles "Iesha" and "Playground", both of which reached the top 10 on both the R&B and pop charts. The group's music blended New Jack Swing with youthful lyrics, often depicting childhood experiences. Another Bad Creation was part of The East Coast Family, a collective of Bivins’ artists that included Boyz II Men and MC Brains. In 1992, they participated in the collaborative single "1-4-All-4-1", showcasing the talent on Biv 10 Records. Their success influenced later young rap and R&B acts including Kris Kross and IMx. The group's second album It Ain't What U Wear, It's How U Play It was released on September 21, 1993 but did not chart on any Billboard charts.
