Annika

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark on December 14, 2004, singer and actress Annika Wedderkopp is better known by her stage name, Annika. She began her career as an actress at the age of 6 when she was cast in The Hunt, which was released in 2012. A year after she was cast in that film, she began writing her own songs. While acting in other projects = including the 2017 film Man Divided – she pursued her musical dreams and competed in the televised song contest MGP Junior when she was 12. On that show, she submitted “Ikke mere,” a song she co-wrote with her schoolmate Maja Løve Nielsen. In early 2023, Annika began uploading songs on social media under the pseudonym Youngmammi. Her popularity and songs caught the attention of the music industry. Signing To Universal Music, Annika released her debut single, “Knuser hjerter,” in March 2024. Within days of its release, the song was the most streamed song on Spotify in Denmark and it reached number 5 on the Danish Singles chart. Two months later, she released her debut EP, Nye Tider, which reached number 9. Further successful singles in 2024 include "Så længe jeg er sexy" and “Luk mig ind,” both of which reached number 3. Annika’s first number one single was “Sammen,” her collaboration with Norwegian rapper Marstein.
