Pop / indie singer Julia Kathrine Hansen â born in Haderslev, Denmark on October 24, 2003 â is better known by her stage name, Mumle. Moving to Vamdrup, Denmark with her family in 2022, she took on several jobs including bartending. After responding to a social media post from a label looking for Danish-language artists, she submitted some audition tapes and was chosen by producer Frederik Carstens. In 2023, she released her debut single, âMoonwalkman,â which led to a contract with Universal Music Group. Her second single, âDet Modsatte,â was a hit and climbed to number 5 on the Danish Singles chart. After releasing the singles âEt for Dig,â and âHvor Solen IkâSkinnerâ (with Svea S), Mumle released her debut EP, Mumle ikke, at the end of 2024. She was nominated for two Danish Music Awards in 2024: Danish Hit of the Year and Danish Name of the Year. In 2025, she continued her string of successful singles including âHale Vejenâ (a collaboration with Omar), "DÃ¥rligt Match,â and âFire uger,â which reached the Top 40.
