Annahstasia Enuke, born and raised in Los Angeles, began writing music as a teenager after discovering soul, blues, and folk on an iPod gifted by her uncle at age 14. Inspired by artists like Nina Simone and Bill Withers, she taught herself guitar and reinterpreted songs with her own lyrics. At 17, a producer heard her singing at school and offered her a record deal, launching her into the industry. After years of navigating a challenging music career, she independently released her debut Sacred Bull in 2019, followed by a European tour with Lenny Kravitz. Burned out, she paused during the COVID-19 pandemic and reconnected with her creative roots. This reflection led to Revival, a spiritually driven, folk-inspired EP that explores identity, fantasy, and Black Americana through intuitive songwriting and powerful vocals. In 2025, she released her first full-length, Tether, which featured Obongjayar and aja monet.
