Andy Caldwell is an American electronic house music DJ and producer who emerged in the early 2000s through the San Francisco house scene as a member of Soulstice. His initial releases included EPs like "Quiet Nights" (2001) and "Carnaval" (2001). Caldwell's compilation album, Sounds of Om, Vol. 2, was released in November 2000. In 2004, he founded Uno Recordings, his own label. His track "Funk Nasty", featuring Gramma Funk, received a Grammy nomination in 2011 for Best Remix by Wolfgang Gartner. Caldwell has collaborated with numerous artists and produced notable singles like "Sing It Back" (2012) featuring Lisa Donnelly and "Hold the Line" (2014). His discography includes albums such as Universal Truth (2006), Obsession (2009), and Genesis (2021).
