All Angels

All Angels were a British classical‑crossover group formed in 2006, comprising Daisy Chute, Laura Wright, Rachel Fabri, Melanie Nakhla and actress Charlotte Ritchie. The ensemble emerged from a rigorous audition process that selected five members from 120 candidates, and their first live appearance took place at Cadogan Hall in London. Their self‑titled debut album All Angels was released on 13 November 2006, entered the UK charts at number nine, and earned a platinum disc and a nomination for Classical BRIT Award Album of the Year in 2007. In 2007 the group released Into Paradise, featuring tracks such as "Nothing Compares 2 U" and "Sancte Deus", and performed at the Classical BRIT Awards ceremony. A third studio effort, Fly Away, followed in 2009, showcasing covers like "Come Away with Me" and a duet with the Harlem Gospel Choir on "I'll Fly Away". The band issued the EP Starlight in 2010 and continued touring, including performances for the Royal British Legion and the UEFA Champions League Final theme in 2011.
