AK Sang Grave is a Cameroonian afro-rap group formed in 1996 by Eboo, Reezko and Dar-X in Yaoundé. The trio is a forerunner of Afro-rap, which in Cameroon is known as "rap kamer". After several years of live performances, the group released their first album in 2002, Yaoundé pour la planète. The album was arranged by DJ Polo. The single "On s'en Rapproche" made a big impact. The trio released Du fond de l'Afrique in 2006, an even more committed album, with tracks such as "Libérez l'Afrique" and "Laissez l'Argent du Peuple". Indépendance" is an Afro-rap remix of Joseph Kabasélé's "Indépendance Cha Cha". Dar-X left the band, and Au Fond du cÅur was released as a duo in 2010. Always socially conscious, it features evocative tracks such as "Célébrité est une Pute" and "La Théorie de la Basket Trouée". The album won Best Rap Album at the Mboa Hip Hop Awards in 2010.
