Himra, whose real name is Bakayoko Abdul Rahim, is an Ivorian rapper born on May 28, 1998 in Abidjan. He discovered French rap with La Fouine, before immersing himself in American hip-hop culture, influenced in particular by Travis Scott, Young Thug and A$AP Rocky. From the age of 9, he began freestyling, then joined the group SBS before going solo. He released his first project, Omega, in 2018, a 14-track album featuring local collaborations (Aura Corp, Sabe Joroko, Doliziana Debordo). In 2019, he released Brutal, a joint project with J-Haine, before marking a turning point with Ivoire Drill King in 2021, under Def Jam Recordings Africa, alongside Gazo, Le Juiice, Tripa Gninnin and YoungPro. His singles "Pti Déj" with Hache-P, then "Sans pression" and "Y'a pas drap" in 2022 and 2023, reinforced his reputation. In 2024, Himra released his album Jeune & Riche, confirming his desire to represent ambitious Ivorian youth. He returned in 2025 with the EP BIG AKA 4 AKA KAI, a hard-hitting project that continued his visual and musical exploration. The same year saw the release of the single "Number One" with Minz, which reached number 153 in the SNEP charts, followed by the album Dachiba Koumgbachaiba, featuring contributions from Gazo, La Mano 1.9, Sheff G, Abra Cadabra and Stonebwoy.
