Formed by musicians and songwriters Francis Médoc, Philippe Marsal and Frédéric Durieux in the late 1990s, the group Zut set out to renew the world of children's songs. As early as 2000, the tone was set with the album Chansons Pour Faire la Fête, filled with original, humorous nursery rhymes, as it was on the following albums, which brought together a large audience known as "Zuttistes": Zut Zut Zut !!! (2003), Mon Oeil (2005), Blablabus (2007), featuring vocals by Véronique Jannot, Yves Jamait and Tom Diakité, then ZUT en Concert Comme Pour les Grands (2009), accompanied by a DVD, Et Qu'Ça Saute (2010) and ABCD... Zut (2012). In 2014, Trotro Fait Son Cirque! was also made into a musical. In 2016, the group, which is also active in cartoon music, produced a new show entitled Y'A Un Bug!
