Zipera

Zipera, a Polish hip-hop group originating from Warsaw, was formed in 1999 by Pona, Koras, and Fu, who were members of the rap collective ZIP Skład. The trio released their debut album O.N.F.R. on June 24, 2000, under Baza Lebel/Pomaton EMI. Their second album, Druga strona medalu, was released on February 14, 2004, featuring the hit single "Do roboty" with Muńka Staszczyk of T.Love. The group's third album, Meritum, was published on June 29, 2018. Zipera achieved notable success with their second album, which reached Number eight on the OLiS chart and included collaborations with artists such as Davy from Soundkail and Tome. They performed at various festivals including Street Wall Festival and Hip Hop Active, and supported Mobb Deep during a concert in Warsaw. On November 6, 2025, Rafał Artur Poniedzielski aka Pono died at the age of 49.
