Yutaro Miura

Yutaro Miura, born 30 April 1984 in Tokyo, Japan, was a Japanese singer‑songwriter and actor who first emerged as the vocalist of the now‑inactive rock band Peaky Salt under the name Yu. After early exposure to music through his parents—actor Tomokazu Miura and former singer—actress Momoe Yamaguchi-Miura began recording independently, releasing the single "Tabidachi" in 2012. His solo career progressed with the studio album And You in 2013, followed by the music video "Hoshikuzu‑Merry‑Go‑Round" in 2015. In 2017, Miura released I'm Home, a full‑length album that reached the top thirty on the Japanese Oricon chart, and in 2018 he followed with Flowers, which further solidified his presence in the J‑pop scene. Throughout this period, Miura performed on national television, appeared in several live events, and collaborated with other artists on the Universal J label.
