Born Dominic Richard Harrison on August 5, 1997 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Yungblud grew up alongside his two sisters, and soon developed a passion for music, hoping to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, who once played alongside T. Rex in the 1970s. Dominic Harrison learned guitar, piano and drums, and wrote his own songs. He rose to fame on his debut in 2017, with his single "I Love You, Will You Marry Me", followed less than a year later by his debut album, 21st Century Liability (No. 97 in Australia), which extended his first two EPs, Yungblud and Yungblud (Unplugged), released in the meantime. In 2019, he collaborates with Travis Barker, Machine Gun Kelly and Halsey. After releasing a live album, Yungblud (Live in Atlanta), he released a new EP, The Underrated Youth (#6 in the UK), and began work on a new album. Weird! was released in 2020 and reached No. 1 in the UK charts. It includes the chart-topping "Cotton Candy " (#98). In 2021, he released "Fleabag " at No. 78. The following year, the glam-pop singer released his third album, Untitled, which topped the UK album charts and reached no. 45 across the Atlantic. The album is promoted by the single "The Funeral" (No. 80), ahead of the release of his third album and second No. 1 Yungblud, in September 2022. After an appearance at Coachella 2023, Yunglbud releases the single "Hello Heaven, Hello", the first from the fourth album and third number one Idols (June 2025), which also includes "Zombie" and "Lovesick Baby".
