Young Cister (Esteban Alejandro Cisterna Ãlvarez, born August 31, 1996, in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean singer, songwriter, and producer who began releasing music in the mid-2010s, first appearing with early mixtape material before pivoting into a sleek pop-urban blend that made him one of Chileâs most visible crossover voices. After building a local profile through independent singles and production work, he moved into a higher-impact phase around the early 2020s with releases tied to his âXuloâ persona, then broke more broadly with âLA TERAPIAâ (2022), later followed by âLA TERAPIA (Remix)â (2022) featuring Nicki Nicole and Ãlvaro DÃaz. That period also included high-profile collaborations across the Latin urban circuitâhe linked with Pailita on âCaminemos de la manoâ and with Duki on âDolceââand he hit a major live milestone in 2022 when he opened shows for Bad Bunny in Chile.
