Young Cister

Young Cister (Esteban Alejandro Cisterna Álvarez, born August 31, 1996, in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean singer, songwriter, and producer who began releasing music in the mid-2010s, first appearing with early mixtape material before pivoting into a sleek pop-urban blend that made him one of Chile’s most visible crossover voices. After building a local profile through independent singles and production work, he moved into a higher-impact phase around the early 2020s with releases tied to his “Xulo” persona, then broke more broadly with “LA TERAPIA” (2022), later followed by “LA TERAPIA (Remix)” (2022) featuring Nicki Nicole and Álvaro Díaz. That period also included high-profile collaborations across the Latin urban circuit—he linked with Pailita on “Caminemos de la mano” and with Duki on “Dolce”—and he hit a major live milestone in 2022 when he opened shows for Bad Bunny in Chile. In 2024, he expanded his catalog with the album PLANES DE MEDIANOCHE (2024), a 13-track set featuring guests including De La Ghetto, Álvaro Díaz, and Morad, and later added the project Los 4F: El Origen (2024), while the single “miau” gained viral traction. In 2025 he launched his next album cycle with “QLOO*,” recorded with Kreamly, a track that pushed him into sustained global chart conversation, and he carried that run into early 2026 with the album LA CIUDAD NUNCA DUERME (2026), built around nocturnal R&B-leaning melodies, house touches, and club-ready songwriting.
