Yim Jae-beom

Yim Jae-beom, born on October 14, 1962, in South Korea, is a singer known for his contributions to K-ballad and rock music. He began his career in 1986 as the vocalist for the heavy metal band Sinawe. Following his debut with Sinawe, Yim Jae-beom recorded with other bands, including Asiana and Rock in Korea, before releasing his first solo album On the Turning Away on October 1, 1991. His subsequent albums include Desire to Fly (1997), Story of Two Years (2000), Coexistence (2004), To... (2012), contributing to the various soundtracks including "Love" (사랑) for Korean drama City Hunter in 2011. Later that year, Yim Jae-beom joined the cast of I Am a Singer, where he placed first, releasing a duet with South Korean singer Ali titled "I Love You" in 2013. In 2015 he returned with the compilation, After the Sunset: White Night. After a considerable hiatus, the singer returned in 2022 with his 7th studio album, titled Seven.
