Rayshawn Lamar Bennett, known professionally as YFN Lucci, was born on February 16, 1991, in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an American rapper and songwriter who discovered his musical talent at age 16. In December 2014, Bennett signed a record deal with Think It's A Game Entertainment and released his debut mixtape, Wish Me Well. His breakthrough came with the release of Wish Me Well 2 in February 2016, which peaked at Number 183 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The mixtape included the hit single, "Key to the Streets" featuring Migos and Trouble, which reached Number 70 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. In April 2017, Lucci released his debut extended play, Long Live Nut, featuring guest appearances from Rick Ross and PnB Rock. The EP debuted at Number 27 on the Billboard 200, with the lead single "Everyday We Lit," featuring PnB Rock, and peaking at Number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100. On March 9, 2018, Lucci released his first studio album Ray Ray From Summerhill, which featured collaborations with Dreezy and Meek Mill. His ALREADY LEGEND full length, Lucci's first album since his release from prison, was released on September 26, 2025 and featured artists, 21 Savage, Young Thug, and BIG JUSTICE.
