Established in 1979, Yello shook up the electro landscape with their songs hijacked by samples and other synthetic sound effects. The albums Solid Pleasure (1980) and Claro Que Si (1981) paved the way for the success of You Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess (1983) and its singles "I Love You" and "Lost Again". In 1988, the eccentric Swiss duo hit the UK charts with "The Race". After Zebra (1994), inspiration waned. Yello had become a respected band, whose pieces were the delight of sound seekers for games, commercials and credits. In 2009, they released their twelfth album, Touch Yello. In 2016, the duo reappeared with the album Toy.
