YELLASOMA is a hip-hop/rap artist from Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. Emerging with a strong local identity and a clear voice, he gained national attention in 2024 through his appearance on the rap competition show Rap Star. After the show, he released the EP LOVE HOOD SOMA, which helped introduce his music to a wider audience. Tracks like âOff Whiteâ and âIgo-yoâ became key songs that defined his style and presence. In addition to his earlier work, YELLASOMA continues to expand his sound and collaborations. His release âSunset View (feat. YOUNG GAGA GG DIOR)â(2025) highlights a more reflective side of his artistry while staying rooted in his hip-hop foundation.
