Yazima Beauty Salon

Yajima Beauty Salon is a music unit that was born in 2008 from a project on the Fuji Television program "Tunnels no minasan no okagedeshita". The members are Margaret Camellia Yajima (born March 2, 1971, Nevada, USA), Naomi Camellia Yajima (born April 25, 1990, Nevada, USA), and Strawberry Camellia Yajima (born July 15, 1996, Nevada, USA). All three are played by Tonneru and DJ OZMA, and feature visuals that are reminiscent of female groups from the 1960s, as well as a unique setting that is a satire of Japanese culture. Their debut single "Nihon no Nomikata -Nevada Karakimashita-" became a hit, reaching No. 3 on the Oricon Charts. On March 25, 2009, they released their second single, "SAKURA -Haru wo utawa nevada-," which attracted attention for its unique perspective on spring scenes from a nevada perspective. After performing live and appearing in films in a variety of fields, the group has been on hiatus since their last TV appearance in 2012. As a unit rich in humor and performance, they left a strong impression on pop culture of a generation.
