Xiao Shen Yang, born Shen He on May 7, 1981 in Kaiyuan, China, is a singer known for his contributions to Mandopop and pop music. Before transitioning into the film and television industry, Xiao Shen Yang was an errenzhuan performer and a student of Zhao Benshan. Xiao Shen Yang gained immediate fame in China following his performance at the 2009 CCTV New Year's Gala, where he played a restaurant waiter in a skit. This breakthrough moment showcased his vocal abilities and led to his continued appearances at various New Year's Galas over the subsequent years. His debut EP, 我叫小沈阳, was released on April 1, 2009.
